Egypt’s Minister of Planning and Economic Development Hala el-Saeed said on Sunday that Egypt Government Excellence Award (EGEA) launched earlier this year is intended to promote competitiveness among civil servants on the one hand and state institutions on the other.
The award aims to encourage employees to upgrade their performance with the aim to achieve the goals of the Egypt 2030 Vision, the minister said.
Saeed spoke highly of what she called “conscious and distinguished” participation of government institutions, governorates and universities during the third edition of the award in 2022.
The winners should be named soon, the minister said.
