WARSAW – Some 5.519 million refugees from Ukraine have crossed the border with Poland since the start of the Russian military operation, Radio Poland said on Monday citing figures from Poland’s Border Guard agency.
About 24,000 refugees from Ukraine crossed the Polish-Ukrainian border on Sunday, it added.
On February 24, Russia announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
