Egyptian student Maiar Othman, winner of the 2026 Arab Reading Challenge, expressed her sincere appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El‑Sisi for receiving and honouring her following her achievement.
Maiar said the recognition and encouragement she received from the President would serve as a strong motivation to continue her path of excellence and represent Egypt with distinction. She added that the support also serves as an inspiration for outstanding students and young people to exert greater effort, pursue success and achieve further accomplishments.
Her remarks came during a meeting on Wednesday in which President El‑Sisi honoured the student after she secured first place and the title of Arab Reading Challenge champion in the competition’s 10th edition.
