16 persons killed, injured in accident on Hurghada-Ras Ghareb road

One person was killed and 15 others were injured on Wednesday when a bus collided with a car on Hurghada-Ras Ghareb road.

Red Sea Operations Room received a report from the Health Directorate on the car-bus collision near Kilo 80 of Ras Ghareb/Hurghada road.

Ambulances rushed to the scene of the accident to carry the injured to Hurghada Public Hospital, while the dead was moved to the morgue.

Most of the injured were discharged from the hospital as they suffered mild injuries.

Security bodies were notified to launch a probe to unveil the cause of the accident.
