Egypt’s Minister of State for Information Diaa Rashwan met Jordanian Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Al Momani on Tuesday to discuss media cooperation and support for the Palestinian cause, Egypt’s Information Ministry said.
The ministers discussed relations between the two countries and the role of their media in supporting Palestinians and reporting on the ongoing Israeli offensive, the ministry said in a statement.
Rashwan said his ministry helped journalists and media professionals obtain accurate information.
Momani praised Egypt’s media and said the two countries co-ordinated closely in the field, it added.
Jordan’s ambassador to Egypt, Amjad Adaileh, and officials from both countries attended the meeting.
