Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly chaired the government’s weekly meeting at the New Administrative Capital, beginning with congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Egyptian people on the 13th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution, calling it a pivotal moment in the nation’s history.

Madbouly reviewed regional developments following the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, stressing Egypt’s position on continuing negotiations toward a comprehensive agreement that secures Gulf and Arab states, respects sovereignty, and preserves territorial integrity. He praised President El-Sisi’s role in containing crises and coordinating with regional partners to achieve stability.

The Prime Minister expressed appreciation for Ahmed Aboul Gheit’s leadership of the Arab League and congratulated Nabil Fahmy on his nomination as Secretary-General, citing his distinguished diplomatic career. He also congratulated Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and ministry staff on the bicentennial of Egypt’s first Foreign Affairs Bureau, noting a celebration will be held tomorrow.

Madbouly further congratulated Egypt’s national football team on its historic first victory in FIFA World Cup competition, commending the players’ determination and expressing hope for continued success.
