CAIRO – President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inspected a number of models of armored vehicles developed by the Vehicles Department of the Armed Forces.
The President was accompanied by Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki and Director of the Vehicles Department Kamal Wafae, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
The inspection tour comes as part of the President’s continuousfollow-up on efforts to develop the work of the Armed Forces’system.
During the tour, the President was also briefed on new advancedmodels of multi-purpose vehicles that are equipped to fight terrorism and secure the domestic front for members of the armed forces and the civil police.
The President also listened to briefing on the plan for future development of equipment and vehicles, in line with the tasks assigned to the Armed Forces.
