Gamers gathered in a major gaming festival over the past three days to play electronic games and win prizes.
Insomnia Egypt was held at Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) on February 17-19.
It is a three day unforgettable experience, full of games, cosplay masquerade, entertainment and the largest tournament prize pool of over LE1.5 million.
Local and international influencers, YouTubers and celebrities were present during the three days to host tournaments and meet fans.
There are tournaments for games as Call of Duty Mobile, Call of Duty Warzone, FIFA, League of Legends, Pubg Mobile, Tekken and Rainbow 6 siege.
Call of duty warzone game has a total prize pool of LE60,000 while Call of duty mobile’s prize pool is LE30,000 and FIFA’s prize is around LE120,000.
League of legend’s prize pool also stands at LE250,000 which PUBG has a prize pool of LE50,000, Rainbow Six Siege’s prize is LE30,000 and Tekken’s total prize pool is LE40,000 for the three days.
The festival is divided into the main stage, e-Sports, battle royale, cosplay, vr zone, mobile gaming, paintball, retail zone and chill zone.
The main stage features E-Sports finals, the Cosplay Masquerade, Fortnite dance-offs, informative talks and fun, interactive games for everyone to join in.
The Cosplay Competition features LE100,000 as prize pool. The first and second place prizes are LE35,000 and LE25,000 while the sixth and tenth place prizes are LE2,000 each.
The Cosplay Competition was on the main stage on February 18, 2022. Paintball game is one of the top adventurous and safe sports where players compete using air pressured guns, which fire gelatin colored bullets.
Retail Zone is a special area to cater all gaming needs. Chill zone provides relaxing time for parents and gamers alike with comfy furniture.
