The Egypt Centre for Research and Regenerative Medicine (ECRRM) and Mansoura National University signed a co-operation protocol on Tuesday aimed at strengthening student capabilities and equipping them with core skills in scientific research.

The agreement was signed by Major General DrMohamed Abdel Salam El-Gohary, CEO of ECRRM, and Professor Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura National University. The partnership reflects the Armed Forces’ continued commitment to supporting Egypt’s educational and research ecosystem through strategic collaboration with national academic institutions.

The protocol outlines a framework for joint co-operation between the two entities, including the exchange of scientific and research expertise, the provision of technical and applied consultations, and the implementation of training programmes for doctors, students, and researchers across a wide range of scientific disciplines. The initiative aims to maximise the use of available resources and capabilities to support innovation and knowledge development.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, El-Gohary asserted the sustained backing of the Armed Forces’ General Command in advancing the Centre’s research efforts to keep pace with rapid developments in medical science.

Professor Khater described the agreement as a strategic milestone in strengthening joint scientific research and enhancing the academic and research capabilities of Egypt’s scholars. He noted that the protocol supports the achievement of Egypt’s sustainable development goals and aligns with the objectives of Egypt’s Vision 2030.
