CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli said the government seeks to strengthen partnership with the private sector in the healthcare field, with a view to improving the quality of health services offered to citizens in accordance with global health standards.
Madbouli made the remarks during his meeting on Monday with Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, to follow up on the progress made in implementing a number of projects.
The premier noted the State pays great attention to developing the health sector, as it spares no effort to achieve universal health coverage across all governorates.
The health minister posted the prime minister on the pace of work on the projects aimed at upgrading medical facilities in various governorates, in addition to the updates related to applying the digital transformation strategy to the health sector.
