Egyptian State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsy on Monday met with President of the Syndicate of Engineers Hany Dahy to discuss vistas of bilateral co-operation.
Morsy said the meeting probed several future cooperation topics and the possibility of joint co-operation.
He asserted the ministry is keen on contributing to qualifying Egyptian engineers, particularly youth, to use fourth industrial revolution applications and digital transformation through the national initiative for preparing cadres of digital industry in co-operation with the General Electric Digital company and IKEN company for digital technology.
The initiative aims at training 1,000 engineers nationwide on the revolution applications, according to him.
Dahy, in turn, hailed the national role the ministry is playing in meeting needs of the Armed Forces and its developmental role in carrying out several national projects in the state.
