CAIRO – Egypt strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Nigeria’s northeastern Yobe State.
The terror blast killed and injured dozens and several people were missing as a result.
In a statement by the Foreign Ministry on Wednesday, Egypt expressed its deepest condolences to the Nigerian government and people and families of victims of the deadly terrorist act.
Egypt also wished a speedy recovery to the injured, said the statement.
The statement reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity and support for efforts exerted by Nigeria to combat all forms of violence, extremism and terrorism and achieve security and stability.
