EgyptAir, the national carrier of Egypt, celebrated the launch of its first flight from Lisbon to Cairo at Lisbon Airport, Portugal. The event was attended by the Egyptian Ambassador to Portugal, Wael El-Naggar, Lisbon Airport Director Francisco Pita, and Commercial Aviation Director Nuno Costa.
Passengers on the inaugural flight were greeted with festive celebrations, including the distribution of souvenirs bearing the EgyptAir logo, photo opportunities, and complimentary upgrades to business class. The passengers expressed their delight at the new route.
EgyptAir will operate two weekly flights between Lisbon and Cairo on Tuesdays and Thursdays, using a Boeing B737-800 aircraft.
