The Egyptian-European Investment Conference aims to enhance economic cooperation between both sides and define future approaches of economic partnership, said MP Tarek Radwan, head of the House of Representatives’ human rights committee.
The conference also contributes to strengthening dialogue, shedding light on investment opportunities in Egypt, motivating trade and attracting further investments, the lawmaker added.
The committee’s head said in a statement on the occasion of Egypt’s hosting of the two-day event which in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
It is also important for introducing the various investment opportunities available in various economic sectors in Egypt.
The conference enhances aspects of economic cooperation between Egypt and European countries, and expands the frameworks of their joint cooperation.
So far, 632 individuals from European companies and international institutions, as well as 647 from the Egyptian side and government agencies have been registered to take part in the event.
