Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Mohamed Zaki sent a cable of greetings yesterday to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Adha.

In his cable, Lieutenant Zaki stressed that the Armed Forces stand ready to sacrifice their lives to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities entrusted to them to protect the homeland and preserve its integrity.

General Zaki also congratulated commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers, as well as members of the Armed Forces participating in the peacekeeping forces and civilian workers on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.

Lieutenant General Osama Askar, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also sent a similar cable of greetings to President Sisi.
