Egypt is intensifying its efforts to contain the current escalation between Hamas and Israel, Al Qahera News Channel reported on Monday.
The channel quoted a high-level source as saying that Hamas’s mortar shelling of Karam Abu Salem area has disrupted ceasefire negotiations, confirming that the Rafah border crossing is operating normally and that the movement of individuals and aid remains ongoing.
