Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday  received Minister of Justice Omar Marwan to follow up the ongoing efforts to further develop the litigation system nationwide, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.

During the meeting, Minister Marwan reviewed the key elements of developing the litigation system, raising efficiency of court premises and buildings in all governorates, as well as the technical development through expanding the application of artificial intelligence technologies to turn speech into written text during hearing sessions, Radi added.

President Sisi gave orders to expand the use of the state-of-the-art technical and technological tools in the work system of all courts, to speed up procedures and shorten time of litigation, in addition to applying the remote litigation system in all courts.

Minister Marwan briefed the president on the progress of the development of the historical headquarters of the notarisation service, and the ongoing efforts to promote the entire system, the spokesman said.

President Sisi also reviewed the measures taken by the Ministry of Justice to settle disputes between government bodies. In this respect, all cases, which date back to the 1990s, were settled, Ambassador Radi said.
