PM reviews report on outcome of 30th round of Arab Music Festival

CAIRO – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reviewed a report from Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem on the outcome of the 30th round of the Arab Music Festival and Conference that was held from November 1-15.

 

Madbouli pointed out to the importance by the state accords to the cultural sector as one of the most important components of civilisation and creativity.

 

In the report, Abdel Dayem said that the targets of the festival come within the framework of the state’s strategy to improve the cultural sector by maintaining Egypt’s cultural and artistic role to contribute to attracting investments and promoting tourism.

 

As many as 107 artists and celebrities from 10 Arab countries participated in the event, Abdel Dayem said, adding that the countries are Egypt, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Palestine, Jordan and Oman.
