Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Egyptian Expatriates said on Tuesday that national authorities were following up reports that an Egyptian citizen had crossed the border fence from Egypt into Israel.
The authorities found that the man had been missing from home since July and was psychologically unstable, the ministry said.
The ministry will pursue the necessary measures to secure his return home.
