Chairman of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation(AOI), Lieutenant-General Abdel Moneim Al Tarras, has emphasised the importance of implementing directives by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on consolidating co-operation with friend countries.
Al Tarras made the remark as he welcomed a delegation from India’s National Defence Collegeat the AOI. He said that the organisation is keen on opening up fresh prospects for further co-operation, and exchanging expertise with all friends, offering chances for training human resources on the latest digital systems.
The Indian delegation’s visit is an opportunitydisplay the real potentials of the Egyptian industry and its development coping with the standards of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and digitalisation, a statement quoted the AOI chief as saying.
Al Tarras and the visiting delegation had an open dialogue during which he reviewed the history of the organisation and its leading role on the national level as an outcome of the 1973 October War victory.
He also pointed to the AOI’s strategy for training human resources, deepening local manufacturing, and localising modern technology in both the military and civilian industries, in co-operation with the world’s major firms.
Touring the AOI’s fair, the Indian delegation voiced admiration of variety of products, and the organization’s manufacturing capacities. They also visited the AOI’s Training Academy.
