Egypt has expressed strong condemnation of the terrorist attack that targeted a convoy of Aden governor of Aden and the agriculture minister in Aden on Sunday, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of Yemeni citizens.
In a statement released by the Foreign Ministry yesterday, Egypt extended sincere condolences to the Yemeni government and people and to the families of the innocent victims.
Egypt, the statement said, expressed wishes for a speedy recovery of the injured and its solidarity and standing by Yemen in the face of the brutal hand of terrorism.
Egypt calls on all Yemeni parties to renounce violence and uphold the higher interest of the Yemeni people away from any narrow calculations or private agendas, in order to push forward a comprehensive political settlement in a way that fulfills the aspirations of the Yemeni brothers towards a secure and prosperous homeland.
