NAIROBI – Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli arrived at Nairobi on Monday to take part in Africa Climate Summit 2023 on behalf of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The summit, which starts on September 5 for two days, is held under the title of “Driving Green Growth and Climate Finance Solutions for Africa and the World”. A large number of heads of state and government, in addition to heads of international organisations are to attend the summit proceedings.
Egypt’s Ambassador in Nairobi Wael Nasr Eldin and a number of the embassy staff welcomed Madbouli upon his arrival at Nairobi Internatiobnal Airport.
The Egyptian premier is scheduled to deliver three addresses during the first day of the summit proceedings on the diverse aspects of climate action in light of Egypt’s presidency to the UN Climate Summit (COP27), held in Sharm El Sheikh in November, 2022.
