EgyptAir : Cairo-Port Sudan direct flights to be operated as of Sept. 1

EgyptAir said Tuesday it will begin its first direct flights between Cairo and Port Sudan as of 1 September.

The national flag carrier added in a press release that it will be operating one flight a day on this route.

Port Sudan is a city and port on the Red Sea in eastern Sudan, and the capital of the state of Red Sea. Port Sudan is Sudan’s main seaport and the source of 90% of the country’s international trade.
