WASHINGTON – The US and Spain stressed the importance of cooperating with regional leaders to ensure access of humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians.
In a statement Sunday, the US State Department said, during a phone call between US Deputy Secretary of State Kurt M. Campbell and the Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diego Martinez Bellio, the two sides reiterated firm support to Ukraine in the face of Russia’s unjustified war.
They discussed the upcoming NATO summit in Washington and their crucial relationship as allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) and also priorities on the Sahel region and issues related to China.
