KHARTOUM- The Sudanese Armed Forces has agreed to a truce for 24 hours.
The ceasefire will start at 06:00 local time Saturday, SUNA quoted a statement by the General Command as saying on Friday.
The statement read that the decision was made in recognition of Saudi Arabia’s and the United States’ efforts, taking into account the humanitarian issues that our people face as a result of the ongoing operations.
It added that the Sudanese Armed Forces reserve the right to respond to any violations committed during the truce.
