MOSCOW – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Saturday that sanctions against Russia do not mean an isolation of the country.
The world is bigger enough to enable the US or the EU to isolate Russia, Peskov told reporters Saturday.
He added there are still certain channels for dialogue with the US, although it rejects relations with Moscow and works to down economic relations.
The spokesman said the sanctions were slapped by some EU countries, Canada, Japan and some other states. However, the measure would not isolate Russia, he added.
Given the fact that the world is bigger enough to enable these countries to isolate any other country, particularly a major country like Russia, according to him.
