MOSCOW- Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said Moscow stands at an equal distance regarding disputes between Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt about the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
In press statements, Zakharova called on all parties to adopt a “responsible approach” to solve the water-related conflict, Sputnik news agency reported Friday.
Russia sees an urgent need for continuing consultations between the parties after Ethiopia’s second filling phase of the dam’s reservoir, she stressed.
