Israeli forces arrested at least 21 Palestinians during raids across a number of cities and governorates in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian News Agency Wafa reported.
According to Wafa on Wednesday, Israeli occupation forces arrested 12 Palestinians in Qalqilya after raiding their homes, searching them and ransacking their contents. Troops also raided the village of Hajja, east of the governorate, before withdrawing from the city about two hours later.
Israeli forces arrested four Palestinians in Tulkarm, including a journalist and his two brothers, as well as three others in the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus, and two young men in Tubas, Wafa said.
Separately, Israeli forces raided the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, on Wednesday, breaking into dozens of homes, searching them and ransacking their contents. No arrests were reported.
The village has been subjected to repeated Israeli military raids, alongside continued attacks by settlers on residents and their property.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continued for the sixth consecutive day to close roads and entrances across Bethlehem Governorate, restricting movement between towns, villages and the city centre, Wafa reported.
The closures affect the al-Sidr and Qasr al-Nassar roads west of Bethlehem, the DCO entrance in Beit Jala, entrances to the town of Janata to the east, entrances to the villages of al-Manshiya and Marah Rabah to the south and all entrances to the town of Tuqu’ southeast of the governorate.
