India is sending humanitarian aid and disaster relief material to the Palestinian people, comprising medical aid (approximately 8 tons) and disaster relief material (approximately 30 tons). The aid is expected to reach Al Arish in Egypt tomorrow.
The Indian Embassy in Cairo said that the medical supplies include essential life-saving drugs, protective and surgical items for handling emergency medical conditions. Intravenous fluids and painkillers are also part of the package.
The disaster relief material consists of tents, sleeping bags, tarpaulin, basic sanitary utilities, water purification tablets etc.
