Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met on Monday with Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Ayman Ashour to discuss joint cooperation.
During the meeting, Abdelatty praised the ongoing collaboration between their two ministries and joint efforts to strengthen ties between Egyptian educational institutions and their counterparts abroad.
The ministers discussed recent developments regarding agreements, programs, and memoranda of understanding between Egypt and various countries in the field of higher education.
The meeting also touched on the vital role played by Egyptian cultural offices abroad in enhancing cooperation programs in education and student exchange with different countries, as well as building bridges of communication with Egyptian expats.
Emphasis was placed on the importance the Egyptian state attaches to supporting and caring for Egyptian students studying abroad through embassies and consulates.
