GAZA CITY – A number of Palestinian civilians were killed and many others injured over the last few hours in a series of Israeli air and artillery strikes across the Gaza Strip, marking the 191st day of Israeli aggression on the region.

WAFA reported that Israeli warplanes targeted several homes in Nusseirat and Maghazi refugee camps and the town of Al Zahraa in the central Gaza Strip, resulting in ten civilians killed and at least 20 others injured. Most of the victims were transported to the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in nearby Deir al Balah.

Simultaneously, Israeli naval vessels launched shells at civilian homes west of the cities of Deir al Balah and Khan Yunis, resulting in property and infrastructure destruction.

Meanwhile, Israeli artillery fired shells towards residential homes in the towns of Bani Suheila, Abasan, and Al-Zanna in Khan Yunis province, south of the territory, causing further injuries to civilians who were subsequently taken to the Gaza European Hospital in the city.

Furthermore, Israeli warplanes targeted four homes in the neighborhoods of Al Zaytoun, Tal Al Hawa, and Sheikh Ajleen in Gaza City, resulting in varying degrees of injuries among civilians.

In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since early October 2023 has resulted in a documented 33,686 Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 76,309 injuries. Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble.
