TRIPOLI – Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat reviewed with French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna the international efforts for settling the Libyan crisis.
During a phone call on Monday, the two sides discussed means of mobilizing the international community’s efforts to solve the Libyan crisis in addition to the conditions in the Horn of Africa and Sahel region.
The talks also tackled the Russian-Ukrainian crisis and its impact of the global food security.
The AU higher committee is planning to hold an all-out national reconciliation conference in Libya to be complementary if the current UN dialogue failed.
