Eight Palestinians were killed and four others injured on Friday in an Israeli airstrike on a residential home in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, WAFA news agency reported.
Local sources confirmed that the casualties included eight fatalities and four injuries resulting from the strike on a house in the Tal Al-Nuwairi area, west of the camp. The victims were transported to Al-Awda Hospital in the camp.
Paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that several injuries occurred when Israeli forces targeted a group of civilians with a missile from a drone in the Zaitoun neighbourhood, southeast of Gaza City.
The injured were taken to the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital for further care.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in 41,272 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 95,551 others injured.
