Egypt is set to launch a mobile application to promote the country’s tourist destinations at local and international levels.
Tourism and Antiquities Minister Khaled al-Anani held a meeting Thursday to follow up on the progress in developing the application.
The designs of the first stage of the application were reviewed at the meeting.
The application aims to brief the Egyptian and foreign tourists on the different tourist attractions in the country, including the cultural, artistic and maritime activities and products.
It will help tourists organize their trips in Egypt so that they can have a unique tourist experience.
It will also allow e-booking of tickets of some museums and archaeological areas in the first stage.
