e& Egypt has officially launched its 5G services, continuing its distinguished journey since entering the Egyptian market. This milestone marks a significant step in solidifying the company’s position as a key enabler of digital transformation and a fundamental contributor to national economic growth.

This strategic advancement is backed by substantial investments in network infrastructure, underscoring the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering cutting-edge technological solutions and robust network capabilities to its customers. Recently, e& Egypt acquired a 5G operating license for $170 million, paving the way for unprecedented service quality and performance in the Egyptian market.

“We are proud to introduce 5G services—not merely as a leap in speed or technology, but as a gateway to a fully integrated digital future that enhances every aspect of our customers’ daily lives. Our 5G network offers massive connectivity capacity, ensuring greater reliability and performance than ever before,” Hazem Metwally, CEO of e& Egypt, stated.

“e& Egypt’s 5G technology significantly reduces latency, enabling exceptional live-streaming and real-time experiences. Its impact goes far beyond entertainment, extending into critical sectors such as fintech, digital banking, and e-commerce,” he added

“With the launch of 5G services, e& Egypt reaffirms its long-standing commitment to creating a more connected, innovative, and sustainable future. We aim to harness advanced technology in service of people, the economy, and society—driving Egypt toward a more prosperous and digitally empowered era,” he concluded.
