CAIRO  — Egyptian Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi launched, through videoconference technology, a sports festival to mark a celebration of the 50th anniversary of establishing the Egyptian-UAE ties.

Held under rubric “Egypt-UAE one heart”, the festival included bicycle marathons in all the country’s governorates, to highlight the importance of cycling sports and its positive impact on the people’s health.

The festival mirrors the deep-rooted relations between the two countries and the keenness of the political leadership to promote these ties on both governmental and popular levels.
