CAIRO — ZED FC secured a 2-0 win over Haras el-Hedoud, while Ceramica Cleopatra delivered a dominant performance against Modern Sport. Meanwhile, Talae el-Geish edged past Al-Ittihad of Alexandria in the fourth round of the 2024-2025 Egyptian Premier League season.
At Alexandria Stadium, Talae el-Geish snatched a valuable 1-0 victory over Al-Ittihad of Alexandria.
In the seventh minute, Talae el-Geish earned a corner from the left side, as central midfielder Emad Fathy delivered a cross into the penalty area, which was safely collected by Al-Ittihad goalkeeper Mehdi Suleiman.
In the 17th minute, Suleiman suffered a leg injury, requiring an ambulance to carry him off the field.
Talae el-Geish was awarded a free kick on the right side of midfield, which defender Ahmed Hossam delivered into the penalty area. Sobhi Suleiman cleared it for a corner.
In the 29th minute, Talae el-Geish goalkeeper Mohamed Shaaban made a brilliant save to deny a powerful shot from Al-Ittihad’s Gabonese centre-forward, Bekale Aubame inside the penalty area, deflecting the ball out for a corner.

In stoppage time, Talae el-Geish’s right-back Ragab Omran unleashed a precise shot from outside the penalty area, placing it into the bottom left corner of Sobhi Suleiman’s goal to seal the victory.
At Cairo’s Al-Salam Stadium, ZED FC triumphed over Haras el-Hedoud with a 2-0 victory.
Winger Abdel-Rahman el-Banouby put ZED ahead in the 18th minute, firing a powerful shot into the net after a pinpoint cross from playmaker Samah Ibrahim.
The second goal came in the 42nd minute when left-winger Mustafa Ziko received a well-placed pass from striker Shadi Hussein. Ziko skillfully dribbled into the penalty area before calmly slotting the ball past goalkeeper Mahmoud el-Zanfaly.
In the 52nd minute, Ziko was on the verge of scoring a third goal for ZED with a one-touch finish after a brilliant through ball from right-winger Mostafa Saad. However, the goal was disallowed following a VAR review due to an offside decision.
With this victory, ZED rises to eighth in the standings with 5 points, while Haras el-Hedoud stays at the bottom with just 1 point.
At Arab Contractors Stadium, Ceramica Cleopatra secured a dominant 4-1 victory over Modern Sport.
Ceramica dominated the game, creating numerous scoring opportunities, while Modern Sport struggled to make any meaningful impact.
In the 33rd minute, a goal by Modern Sport’s center-forward Ahmed Atef was disallowed for offside following a VAR review.
Ceramica’s four goals were led by a hat-trick from left-winger Mahmoud Zalaka, who scored in the 2nd, 56th, and 80th minutes. Winger Islam Issa netted the second goal in the 54th minute.
Modern Sport’s sole goal came from Cameroonian player Jonathan Ngoyem in the 61st minute.
This victory lifts Ceramica Cleopatra to fourth place in the standings with 7 points, while Modern Sport remains in 13th place with 3 points.
