The national kickboxing team won seven different medals in the African championship, currently in session in South Africa.
Some 13 African countries are taking part in the championship that kicked off on August 25.
The internationally acclaimed event hosts athletes from South Africa, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria, Sudan, Senegal, Angola, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea and Algeria.
Head of the Egyptian Kickboxing Association Mohamed Sobeih lauded the outstanding performance of Egyptian athletes in the competition.
