The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and the French Football Federation (FFF) have formalized a memorandum of understanding, establishing a strategic partnership aimed at significantly enhancing the development of women’s football in Egypt. The agreement was signed by EFA President Hany Abu Rida and FFF President Philippe Diallo during Mr Diallo’s official visit to Cairo.

The partnership will focus on implementing comprehensive initiatives, including the establishment of specialized training camps, the provision of advanced coaching courses, and the facilitation of player and coach exchange programs.

These initiatives are designed to elevate the skill level and competitive capacity of Egyptian women’s football.

“This productive collaboration represents a pivotal step in our commitment to advancing Egyptian football,” stated President Abu Rida during the signing ceremony.

“We are confident that this partnership with the French Football Federation will yield substantial and enduring benefits.”

President Diallo echoed this sentiment, expressing his enthusiasm for the collaboration.

“This agreement lays the groundwork for a robust, long-term partnership that will mutually benefit both federations and contribute significantly to the growth of women’s football,” he remarked.

The EFA and FFF are committed to the successful implementation of this partnership, anticipating a positive impact on the future of women’s football in Egypt.
