Al-Ahly defeated its host Al-Dakhleya 4-1, at Suez Stadium on Wednesday night.
The match was in the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.
With this result, Al-Ahly raised its score to nine points to top the league table equally with Al-Ittihad of Alexandria, while Al-Dakhleya stopped at one point in the sixteenth place.
Mohamed Sharif scored the first goal for Al-Ahly in the second minute of the match, then Hamdi Fathi added the second goal in the sixth minute.
While, Phanom Alfred scored the first goal of Al-Dakhleya in the 13th minute.
Al-Ahly strengthened its lead with the third goal in the 47th minute through Karim Fouad after receiving a magic pass from Afsha, and five minutes later, Fouad scored the fourth goal for his team and the second for him by Afsha’s assist as well.
On the other hand, Zamalek was held to a 1-1 draw by Enppi at Arab Contractors Stadium.
Ahmed Sayed Zizo scored Zamalek’s only goal in the 44th minute from a penalty kick.
Enppi equalized the score through Ahmed Kalusha in the 84th minute.
With this result, Zamalek raised its score to 7 points in third place in the table, while Enppi raised its score to two points in 14th place.
