Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El-Hefny has honoured a number of employees from EgyptAir Holding Company and its subsidiaries, presenting them with certificates of appreciation in recognition of their contributions to the company’s outstanding results in the 2026 Skytrax rankings.

The ceremony was attended by Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Holding Company, Ahmed Adel; Assistant Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, Sherif Khalil; Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, Mohamed Alyan; Chairperson of EgyptAir In-Flight Services Company, Soheir Abdallah; Chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering Company, Mohamed Samy; Chairman of EgyptAir Ground Services Company, Khaled Atwa; Assistant Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines, Hafez El-Shety; and President of the EgyptAir Training Academy Walid Soliman, along with several sector heads.

The recognition follows EgyptAir’s achievements in the 2026 Skytrax rankings, which included being named “The World’s Most Improved Airline 2026’. The airline also climbed to 46th place globally, entering the list of the world’s top 50 airlines, in addition to achieving several high rankings across Africa.
