Minister of Civil Aviation, Samah el-Hefny, received several members of the Egyptian Parliament at the ministry’s headquarters, in the presence of Eng. Amr Negaty, Permanent Undersecretary of the Ministry, and Mohamed Hammad, Assistant Minister for Parliamentary Affairs.
The meeting is part of the ministry’s regular engagements, reflecting its commitment to strengthening institutional communication with the legislative authority and supporting joint work mechanisms in line with the country’s comprehensive development agenda.

El-Hefny emphasised that the meeting underscores the importance of coordination between the executive and legislative branches, enhancing the efficiency of government operations and contributing to the development of civil aviation services across various sectors.
During the meeting, the members discussed several topics and proposals reflecting citizens’ needs and aspirations in the civil aviation sector, particularly regarding improving service quality and developing airports within the framework of available resources.
The minister directed the relevant authorities to carefully and comprehensively study these proposals and take the necessary actions to ensure public benefit and enhance the quality of services provided.

The parliament members, for their part, expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and stressed the importance of continued co-operation and coordination to support the nation’s development and meet citizens’ expectations.
