Rome, 3th 2 June 1941 — An official announcement issued here today confirmed that Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini have held a meeting at the Brenner Pass.
The two dictators engaged in a lengthy discussion that lasted for some hours. They were accompanied by their respective foreign ministers, Joachim von Ribbentrop and Count Galeazzo Ciano, who were also present during the talks.
According to the official statement, the conversations took place in a cordial spirit of friendship and resulted in a complete agreement on the political and military views of the governments of the Allied Axis powers.
