Spain – Stan, an obstacle-shy sheepdog who wore contact lenses after being run over by a car, has died in Bilbao, Spain.
A local eye specialist fitted the dog with the lenses last December after diagnosing short-sightedness.
Stan’s owner noted that as a result of the treatment, the animal’s personality had vastly improved.
