All potentials must be geared to war effort

6 May 1973 – The People’s Assembly has issued a stern call for the total mobilisation of national resources to support the war effort. In a decisive report on government policy, the Assembly condemned the American-Israeli alliance and emphasised that Arab solidarity remains vital for the liberation of occupied territories. The statement urged that all state potentials be strategically aligned to meet the requirements of the upcoming struggle.
