14-year-old swimming prodigy sets two world records

14-year-old Kornelia Ender, representing sports club Chemie Halle, recently set two new world records at the 24th GDR Swimming Championships.
She clocked an impressive 58.25 seconds in the 100 metres freestyle before breaking her own world record in the 100 metres butterfly with a time of 1:02.31.
