€3.8m Kitchener project opens two new waste stations
As part of the Kitchener Drain Rehabilitation Project’s solid waste component, Minister of Local Development and Environment Manal Awad inaugurated two waste transfer stations in Nabarouh, Dakahlia, and Nashil village in Gharbia. The facilities were built at a cost of €3.8 million under the wider project, which is funded by a €79 million loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and an €8 million grant from the European Union.
