Egyptian convenience App expands into restaurant delivery platform

Breadfast has announced the official launch of Breadfast Food, following a successful beta period that saw strong customer adoption. The service expands Breadfast’s everyday convenience platform by introducing restaurant delivery, aligning with its long-term vision to consolidate customers’ daily needs within one trusted application.

Breadfast Food enables users to discover and order from a curated selection of restaurants directly through the existing app, providing seamless access to meal delivery without leaving the platform. The official rollout marks the latest milestone in the company’s evolution towards delivering a broader array of services through a single integrated ecosystem.

What began as a platform transforming the grocery shopping experience has grown into a comprehensive service designed around daily consumer routines. Today, Breadfast brings together groceries, a bakery, coffee, pharmacy items, and restaurant delivery within one unified experience, reflecting its ambition to simplify access to everyday essentials.

The new feature represents the next phase of company growth, building on the advanced technology platform, established logistics network, and supply chain expertise developed over recent years. As consumer expectations evolve, integrated digital experiences have become increasingly important, allowing users to access multiple daily services through a single platform rather than relying on separate applications.

The service provides access to local restaurant favourites alongside exclusive daily offers and discounts. Breadfast Food is backed by a delivery network designed to be fast, reliable, and consistent with the standards associated with the core brand.

Beyond expanding choices for consumers, the platform creates new opportunities for restaurant partners by connecting them to a broader customer base, helping local food brands strengthen their market presence and scale their operations. As the service continues to expand, it is also expected to create hundreds of new job opportunities for delivery riders, supporting the local economy through sustainable employment.

“Our customers don’t think about groceries, meals, coffee, or personal care as separate services. They simply want the easiest and most reliable way to get everything they need in their daily lives. That’s the thinking behind Breadfast Food. It brings together customers’ favourite restaurants, exclusive daily offers and discounts, and a fast, reliable delivery experience within the Breadfast platform. As we continue to grow, we’ll keep expanding our services by bringing more everyday services to the platform while expanding our presence across Egypt. In doing so, we’ll create more opportunities for our partners, generate more jobs, and move closer to our vision of building Egypt’s leading everyday convenience platform.” Muhammad Habib, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Breadfast, said.

The launch comes as Egypt’s digital commerce landscape evolves, with consumers increasingly demanding faster and more connected digital services. Breadfast maintains that the future of everyday convenience lies in unifying essential services under one roof, delivering greater value to users while creating growth channels for restaurant partners.

Looking ahead, the company plans to expand its restaurant partner network, strengthen its footprint across Egypt, and continue investing in technology, operational excellence, and customer experience. Breadfast Food will progressively roll out to additional governorates as part of its nationwide expansion, enabling more customers to access its integrated convenience platform while contributing to the long-term development of Egypt’s local business ecosystem.
