The Cairo Opera House will open its new season on September 9, with a gala performance bringing together the Cairo Opera Company, Cairo Opera Orchestra, Cairo Opera Ballet Company and Cairo Opera Choir.
The “Season’s Opening Gala: A Night of Grandeur” will begin at 8:00 pm in the Main Hall, offering an evening of opera, orchestral music, ballet and choral performances.
The concert will be conducted by Mohamed Saad Basha and directed by Mahdy El Sayed. Pascale Rozier will serve as choir master, while Erminia Kamel will oversee choreography. Artistic direction is being provided by Jolie Faizy.
The event marks the beginning of the Cairo Opera House’s new season and is billed as a major celebration of music and performance.
