CAIRO- Egyptian Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi underlined the depth of Egyptian-Canadian ties in various domains.
He stressed keenness on enhancing co-operation with Canada in the fields of youth and sports.
He made the remarks during a meeting on Monday with Canadian Ambassador to Egypt Louis Dumas.
The talks tackled proposals for furthering bilateral cooperation and exchanging expertise.
The minister also reviewed means of launching an Egyptian-Canadian youth forum similar to the Egyptian-Russian one which fructified into establishing the Egyptian-Russian youth council.
He invited the Canadian embassy to participate in the embassies sports tournament due to be held in June.
For his part, the Canadian ambassador stressed preparedness for enhancing co-operation with Egypt in the youth and sports domain.
